How to get MSN to show what I am playing on iTunes?

How do i get msn messanger to show what i'm listening to from my itunes?

  • I know about ticking the "show what i'm listening to" thing on my personal message and it worked for my windows media player after getting a plug in, but when i started ...show more

  • Answer:

I have msn plus and I had to click the personal message thing and connect it with windows media player and it worked on itunes automaticly. i kno this doesn't help much but i'm just telling you it shud go on automaticly. It helps if you have the latest version.

Click on the drop down arrow next to where it says, "enter a personal message", near the top and then click on, "show what I'm listening to".

I'm assuming you're using msgpluslive. Make sure the plugin was properly installed and is active: On the dashboard, click the msgpluslive scripts button (3 blocks) and select script preferences. In the list, look for the name of the plugin (for me, it's Now Playing v1.3.4) and make sure it says running. If it's not running, run it. If it's not there, download and install the plugin again. After that, just make sure the "show what i'm listening to" is ticked.

you might need another plug in. I use winamp actually more than windows media player and it still shows what i'm listening to on my msn, but that's cus I had to download a plug in... if you have msn plus live, you might find the plug in there. Hope this helps.

> Where your name or e-mail adress is at the top of the MSN window click the down arrow key on its right. > From the drop down list click "Options". > In "Personal" make sure you tick the box that says "Show song information..." > Finally, click "Apply" then "OK" at the bottom Four simple steps and everyone knows what your listening to! Just make sure it's good music =) LOL! Good luck! PS It also helps to have the latest version of Windows Live Messenger
