Is MSN really closing down??? whats the story?

well in a way it sort of has its stopped making the software since the final release of 7.5 but microsoft have made newer versions and msn is a part of microsoft so in away they just took msn away and changed it in to windows live messenger but you can still use your hotmail account ( your msn address ) to log on to windows live messenger Meny Thanks eXistence
