My msn live messenger isnt working?

I tried using windows web messenger and it worked. I tried using the old messenger and it worked. But i cant use my windows live messenger. I tried signing in with my other email ...show more

simply go to : http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windows.live.messenger&tid=c5048af6-e148-4c6a-a9ce-18e09d2b5c20&p=1 there are couple of solutions in there and and most of them worked. I hope it'll help you. Cheers.

turn off your modem and switch it back on so it refreshes your ip address

It works fine for me, i dont know why all of you people are having trouble with it... I just signed in and out 10 times on purpose with no errors at all. Hopefully it'll work soon for you people.

Try using a mutliclient messenger instead, MSN messenger is junk. I'd recommend Pidgin. Supports MSN, AIM, yahoo, jabber, IRC, and pretty much every other major IM client. Google the word "Pidgin", should be the first result.
