Why when i talk on MSN to one particular contact....

    Either of you using wireless? That can drop the connection for a few seconds at a time and reconnect without either of you knowing.

I've had this problem years ago the only solution I found was to run a spyware scan - which fixed the problem.

I get that too, ill be watching an answer for this!!!

I've had that before. It doesn't happen with everyone though. There seems to be nothing wrong with my PC - I think MSN just has network problems sometimes and messes up. It seems to be completely random and there's not really anything you can do about it

Sometimes I get this problem to and I am not really sure. My idea is that well there called just be a problem with your msn. My msn plays up sometimes and its really annoying. But just see if you can find any problems with ur msn.

I don't know why that happens but it has occurred a couple of times when I am on MSN using Pidgin on Linux so I know it probably isn't virus related. Probably a glitch in the network traffic; if your network connection fluctuates it can cause signal corruption. Not much you can do about it if thats the case but its worth trying another MSN client to see if that makes a difference. Try aMSN: http://www.amsn-project.net/ (I reckon its better anyway)

all i can think is that this is the start of a virus that you have got from someone on msn. It happens to me but only from time to time sorry i couldnt help much
