Why does it take so long for youtube videos to load?

Youtube videos take forever to load?

  • Everytime i go on youtube and i want to watch a video it will take like 5 minutes to load the video, why is this?

    You're definitely not the only one. It always happens to me and it makes me so mad that I wanna slap a baby! Phew! Sorry about that, I'm really not a violent person. =P I really think it has more to do with YouTube than our computers, so right now I think all we can do is be patient while the videos load. So sorry I couldn't be more help.

It may just be because you don't have much bandwidth space. Or it may just be because your internet's slow.

it's the same with me. i think its because the vids need to buffer first.

Sometimes that happens to me too, even though I have 2mb cable broadband. I think the fault is probably at YouTube's end - at busy times of the day, their web-servers get overloaded so that's why it goes really slow sometimes, especially for long videos. Most of the time, YouTube is pretty fast though.

depends on what speed of broadband u have, how many pcs are on ur network. there can be many reasons why it takes longer. find out ur speed for ur isp the go to www.speedtest.net to see if it matches.
