How do i change a file on windows movie maker to the type .wmv so that i can upload it to youtube?

By saving it the correct way. Your saving it only as a project file, which wont work with youtube. Open windows movie maker, load the video you made, click file, then click save as movie file.

okay, this is actually alot easier than you think. first, (windows movie maker should be open) on the left side of the screen, movie tasks should be shown (effects, capture video, finish movie...). If you do not see the movie tasks go up to the top and click view, and click task bar. second, go to where it says "finish movie" and click "save to my computer". it may take a while depending on how long the movie is.

youtube only accepts certain video format. copy it & save it the copy as a .wmv file. left click the video on ur desktop

At the couner it should say publish movie.. click that
