How do you get a youtube video in HD?

    Record your videos in 1280 x 720 size at 30fps. Make sure you continue to use those settings when importing & editing your video. Same when exporting - make sure you export at 1280 x 720 HD. You don't need an HD camera but it makes no sense to upload a video in HD if it's not HD quality. It makes last years computers lag a lot when you can just upload it in HQ and it will actually look better (higher frame rate and it doesn't distort SD video). If you don't care what I just said, most of the latest video programs out there edit in HD so you can just start a project in HD or import your video, edit it, and export it in HD format. YouTube has a list of recommendations for what file settings would look best on YouTube in HD. Your editor may or may not let you change these: " * Video Format: H.264, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 preferred * Aspect Ratio: Native aspect ratio without letterboxing (examples: 4:3, 16:9) * Resolution: 640x360 (16:9) or 480x360 (4:3) recommended * Audio Format: MP3 or AAC preferred * Frames per second: 30 * Maximum length: 10 minutes (we recommend 2-3 minutes) * Maximum file size: 1 GB " If your editor doesn't let you change these it shouldn't matter very much as long as your video is under 10 minutes long and less than 1 GB in size.

HD camera or save it or publish it into a high quality video and when u upload it in youtube it would automatically upload to HD
