    The best answer is just to give it a try. As long as your site meets all of the AdSense requirements then you have nothing to loose. Don't worry about choosing adverts with AdSense, they do that not you, you just put the code on your site. (although you will need to choose the sizes to fit in with your site) You can have up to 3 ad units and 3 links units but often using the maximum makes you site look a bit crowded. Give it a bash and after a couple of week you should have a good idea of your average earnings.
