What Webbrowser do you use? --------------------------------------... Internet Explorer: Tools>Internet options>(under browsing history) Delete...>Delete all... (this will delete all the history) and then restart IE --------------------------------------... Firefox 3: Tools>Clear Private Data...>mark all the boxes>hit Clear Private Data. --------------------------------------... Google Toolbar then do this: open the history box and at the right bottom there is a blue link (Clear History) and there you go --------------------------------------... If you are logged in Google ore Gmail then sign in and you will see a list of link find the one named (Web History) and if you have saved history you will see your history, at the left you can click on the Remove Items and then select all the links ore click at the right Clear Intire Web History. --------------------------------------... Does it work...? :^P

What you are trying to clear is "autocomplete" This is what you do... Goto Internet Explorer, Options, Under the "Content" tab, Select "AutoComplete" and clear all autocomplete. That will do the trick. Have fun & start surfing using Chrome if you need to surf 'without leaving trails on the computer'. Chrome's got an Incognito mode which does this. That said however, remember that Incognito only stops leaving trails on the computer but whatever you do online can still be traced back to you as you're still going through your Internet Service Provider. Get Chrome at http://www.google.com/chrome

Delete history and memory from your search bar ==================================== These memory drops that occurr around your computer is caused by the internet browser. Click this link and follow the instructions. http://www.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=465 there are 2 instructions to alter for IE, MSN, Firefox and Safari click the Red 1, 2 , 3 circles in the link. Note there are instructions to clear them once only, but if you expand the info in there, it tells you how to alter the browser settings to never have them. For History set the Days to 0.
