    Earth hour is a ridiculous publicity stunt whereby people who can't think for themselves are gullible enough to believe that they have to turn their lights off between 8 and 9 tonight to "save the planet". It's a silly symbolic gesture with no real meaning or benefit. it's just the environmental terrorists really want.... to hell with the environment, let's just control people's personal lives. I'm planning to turn ALL my lights on for that hour, and leave BOTH cars running with the headlights on high beams. All (yes, we've discussed it and I mean ALL) of my friends and family are doing the same to protest that a crackpot, unfounded, and totally FALSE "theory" cannot give someone else the authority to dictate what we do in our own personal lives.

Earth Hour is a "climate change awareness" kind of event. Everybody is asked to shut their lights off for 1 hour from 8pm to 9pm on March 29, Saturday (today!). A lot of people and businesses are expected to participate. Some places like malls are willing to dim their lights a bit to participate. In Toronto, Nelly Furtado will even be performing to help raise awareness for the event. So DO IT!! stop global warming!

Earth hour is when north america powers down all lights for one hour 8 o clock to 9 o clock. Google started this morning. I hope this helps!
