Why does my Google Chrome keep crashing?

I've uninstalled the programme and re installed it, yet it keeps crashing, any ideas what to do please?

Answer:
Usually crash happens due to version problem and add on problem. Resolution Uninstall the chrome completely (as for any bookmark, preference) also delete all of them. Install latest chrome and run it in safe mode. http://googlesystem.blogspot.in/2010/02/google-chrome-safe-mode.html

Did you get the right version for your operating system? There are 2 types, 64bit and 32bit. Also, if you are using a windows 8 consumer preview, google chrome is unstable/
