    We've used Genius, Mailchimp and Marketo for various pieces. Ultimately we've ended up doing a lot of the segmenting, scoring and lifecycle stuff ourselves as we end up reaching limitations with each of the systems. Performable (now part of Hubspot) and Totango have also done interesting things with in-app event driven triggers. If you've got the appetite to write your own logic you can get really precise with Sendgrid, Postmark or Mandrill from Mailchimp. There's more flexibility here but it's not feasible for most organizations. We still use a combination of all of these options to fully manage our email processes.

Check Moosend (http://www.moosend.com/)! All the tools that were mentioned are really respectable. We have used some of them in the past but what we found on Moosend was a really dedicated customer care plus most of the features the competition has and a great UX in a really affordable price.
