I could give you one way, but I'm really worried about what would people on youtube.com will feel or think about it. They are also human beings you know. ehehe

you can use youtube grabber to downoad .flv files and need flv player to play them. For google,u can directly download them.

Edit: Try the new RealPlayer beta. The new beta features a video download manager for you YouTubers and GoogleVideo-ers. It also plays the videos, and manages them in playlists (useful for splitted movies). http://www.real.com/ You probably need to enable the downloader in the RealPlayer options, and I think it only supports IE (although it could support Firefox, I wouldn't know because I use Opera/IE instead of Firefox and haven't bothered trying it out with Firefox). Also, there are freeware programs out there that download them, but I wouldn't recommend those to you.

at youtube.com, after the streaming has completed, in internet explorer go to tools > internet options > general tab> browsing history settings> view files> then get the "get video" file.. copy it in any folder then rename it with the extension name of flv. example video.flv then download a flv player so u can play it even without the internet

Rip the videos from you temporary internet folder, use a site to rip them, like keepvid.com use firefox add-ons (browse) Right click the video and save it, ....
