Which is better Firefox 3.5 or internet explorer 8 ?

Hi, browers, antivirus, providers its personal choice? it really is what suits you best, everybody has their own opinion? i use IE8 because it suits me, it may or may not suit you? try it for a week if you dont like it try another, only you know what suits you best. PS IE8 rocks ok, haha?

Firefox 3.5 is better in terms of speed, security and add ons. But I prefer Google chrome, because all of its tabs use separate process. So if one of your tab crashes, it doesn't affect any other tabs. You can kill the process of that tab by the task manager also. This feature is introduced first in Google chrome.

Give up on Firefox until its fixed there are currently just too many problems to rate it as a reliable piece of software. Try Orca, K-Meleon or Flock they are all free Mozilla based browsers and are all faster than Firefox. They have been produced by people who agree the Mozilla search engine is best but that firefox has gone wrong somewhere. If you go to firefox help pages or Mozillazine help pages you will see that the people there are extremely arrogant and blame everything and everybody for having problems with Firefox. Not a good sign. IE8 is OK with a shell like Avant or Maxthon or slim browser. But a browser that is not part of the OS will always be more secure. the less well known it is the less likely it will be hacked.

FIREFOX.FIREFOX.FIREFOX As most comps now come with I.E bundled with windows leave it on but use firefox as your internet when it says do you want me to make a shortcut do it and remove the I.E shortcut ( you can still use it it will be in the window/start or on the task bar at the bottom of the comp on the left hand side) Use fire fox when surfing the internet by double clicking the short cut

Firefox is a lot faster even at just cold-start (running at beginning of windows) plus you can personalize it with skins and add-ons. Like theme add-ons that make it look like Internet Explorer 8.

as a web developer my suggestion is firefox because you can add different useful add-on on firefox not like ie8. there are alot of different browser out there just like safari or google chrome.
