Is it possible to send a whole folder of pictures by email?

I want to send a folder full of pictures to someone. Is this possible or do I have to send the pictures individually?

Answer:
YES you can.. Sort of... You can send the entire contents of the folder all at once without zipping or rar'ing them. You DO NOT have to attach them one at a time. When you click Attach files/ Browse to the folder then Hold the Left mouse button and select all of the files. "Same as you do if you wanted to Copy text" Then click OK. This works with my email.. Gmail.com *Edit to add, you cant go over the upload limit of your email provider*

I usually have a restriction of 10-MBs or 25-MBs for sending Email Attachments..<--depending on which Email Service I use/ === But I can only send a single attachment-- === You could take your Folder of Pics..and create a Slide Show in Movie Maker..send the Slide Show as a attachment..and the person at the other end can then use Movie Maker to EDIT(or Chop out) the Individual PICS./.the result are low resolution photographs..like 40-KB in size/ === Also..10-MBs or 25-MBs is a small amount of Data.. If you can send a Photo Attachment of a sngle photo=900KB or 1-MB..that a very good attachment.. Its really best to use the Postal Service and send a CD full of photo's.. ..its about $$1.25/[end]
Yes its possible. Before sending the folder, you have to compress it and then you can send it as if it were just one.

No you can't. But you can turn the folder into a .zip and send it that way. Then the other person can easily reach all the files.

you should be able to place them all in a folder and zip it. in windows, right click the containing folder and click send to-> zip file then attach the zip file to the email. Be cautious of sending too many at once, most emails services have a size limit of 1 to 5 MB (maybe around 10 to 40 jpeg images, depending on how big they are...)

Yes, zip the folder and than send it as an attachment through email.

You select the pics individually but, provided the total does not exceed 10MB, you should be able to send them all together as a single e-mail attachment. What you cannot do is send the actual folder as an attachment.

Yeah individually. If you got a brodband connection you can do it fast though

you can send a folder but you might want to Zip it first and be sure you & your friends e-mail client can accept the size of the file.
