How do I start a career without experience?

How do i start a career in v8 supercars without any karting experience?

  Just ring up 888 mate. I'm sure they'll be happy to throw you in alongside Lowndsey and Whinners for some experience, after all, all their years of karting and racing mean nothing next to your "want" to start straight in V8's! Really. FFS. Every single driver on that grid started out in karting, then went through low-level racing series, to get to V8s. Formula Brabham (as it was at the time), Formula Ford, Fujitsu Series, etc. You don't just walk into a V8 Supercar. The drivers on that grid already have a good ten years of experience by the time they get to V8SC. You would need to start in karting, and I don't mean sh*tty rental go-kart places, I mean proper racing karts on a proper kart racing track. A good second-hand kart alone is $5000. New, keep going. You would need to win titles and move up categories consistently, and then move onto something like Formula Ford. And a car there...you're looking at $250,000 just to buy the car, let alone run it. And sponsors are EXTREMELY hard to come by in Australia unless you can show them that you're the next Mark Webber or Jamie Whincup. Sponsors are very skeptical.
