How do i appley too enter into The Amazing Race?

Is there a kind of car race that novices can enter. Something where you and a buddy could go race for fun?

    You can race at any local racetracks. I race at my local asphalt track and have since I was 15(Im only 16 now, but had a great rookie season.) I won two features and finished 30th in points of around 80 cars.

go karts are a great place to start and are relatively cheap. you will only probly spend less than $5000 a year including the equipment. i raced go karts a few years ago and now im 16 and race a nascar whelen late model and part time in a camping world west car. for the whelen late model we spent around $100000 last year, but went through 3 cars. i finished 15th in national points and got rookie of the year.good luck
