Where can i try out demolition derby driving?

I don't know of any place which lets you drive without buying and preparing a car first. Best bet is a video game called Demolition Derby and Figure 8 Racing. Game physics are pretty realistic, and the rules of demo derby are well enforced. Cars die for realistic reasons, and the computer opponents are pretty aggressive. If you get good at the game, the arena beckons--although the game doesn't shake you up like a real demo derby (headaches and bruises).

If there is a derby in your area that includes a powderpuff derby, perhaps a guy with a car will let you run it in the powderpuff.

Try Herts rent a car, make sure you purchase the insurance. They have a nice selection of late model cars to choose from, take your pick and head to the interstate. I heard they have demo practice there in Cali about 5 oclock everyday. :)

That's kinda hard to do, considering tearing up the car is what's so fun about it. If you know someone that has a demo car, you can try asking him about it, but I wouldn't get too hopeful. As far as someplace that rents out cars to do that....it's highly doubtful. Your only other bet is to try the bumpercars at a theme park or a carnival. I guess you could always try a junkyard....but that, too, is highly doubtful.
