How do I become a F1 driver? (or engineer)?

    Ur chance is ok. Dont listen to people who say u have to have years of karting. The most important thing is funding or sponsorship. I would move to europe for a better chance and race in formula renault and then formula 3 and the gp3 and then gp2 and then test driver for f1 and then see how it goes.

Your not gonna end up as a GP3 driver just like that, thats way too fast for a first car. A good start would be Formula Renault 1.6 or Formula 4 as there are many guys around 15 y of age who drive those cars. Then you can work yourself up, such as Formula 3, then GP2 or FR3.5

of your age group, about 20 millions guys and girls would like to be f1 drivers, maybe one or two make it. your family may be well off, but that doesn't get you a ticket to greatness, you need talent and perseverence. a lot. good luck.

Don't listen to the guy who said you are too tall. Mark Webber is about your height. If you have talent than find some sponsors and go for it.

Noone gets into Formula 1 unless you live in Europe. All successful drivers have their own personal sponsors, and some drivers are financially backed by their countries. Karting experience is a huge plus, but these days is not necessary if you have the skills.
