Snowflex, dendix or permasnow would be ideal, however they could be extremely tricky to get hold of out in Oz especially if it is happening in a few weeks time. It could be possible to adapt something such as astroturf and layering your bases with a wax and possibly some sort of cable pulling lubricant such as yellow 77.
