Best board that is cheap would be a K2 snowboard. I've had one for 9 years now and its still in good shape. They have a pretty pink one. You can buy them alomost at every sporting goods store (*****, etc) which is a plus. Dont buy Burton unless your a spoiled kid who can ride good. Also if you are just starting, I wouldnt buy one until you try riding first. Rent a board at the Mt. so you decide if you like it or not. Its harder than it looks!!!
