What brand of snowblades, skiis or snowboards is better to buy?

Can snowboards and skiis burn?

• Or do they just melt? Just wondering because everything can heat to the point of combustion...right? And, if anyone knows, what are skiis and snowboards made of?

  Yes...many snowboards and skis have been burned in annual sacrificial offerings to the snow gods when the snowfall has been lean or the temps have been too high for snowmaking. Wood core skis will burn, foam core skis burn in the manner that styrofoam burns...more of a gaseous melting I suppose. Thanks to metal edges, laminates, bindings that were not removed, mounting features, etc. etc. few skis or snowboards will ever burn down to clean ash. If exposed to extreme indirect heat it would be my educated guess that the wood skis and boards would eventually spontaneously combust, those constructed of man-made materials would melt and perhaps with exposure to oxygen, ignite.
