What snowboard is good for a beginner/intermediate?

What happens if you snowboard with a snowboard that is to small for you?

  • well i couldnt get a new snowboard in time for the season and im stuck with a small snowboard

  • Answer:

Small boards are a lot easier to maneuver and are easier to go freestyle on because you can move around easier on it. Short boards go a tad slower, but not so much that it's noticeable. :]

You can still buy previous year's boards at a discount. I find that smaller boards are more fun as they are more nimble, are easier to turn, and easier to spin. If it is too short for you by 5 cm or less, it wont make much of a difference. Park riders usually have shorter boards.
