What brand of snowboard is better to buy?

If I buy a snowboard, does it have to be the same brand as my boots?

  • Hi, I am thinking of buying a Burton board but my boots are Salomon. Will the be able to fit into Burton bindings on a Burton snowboard? Or should i buy a Salomon board? Thanks

It doesn't matter if you have different branded boards, boots and binding. Although make sure that if you have large feet, you get a wide board. Also make sure that your boots fit with your binding.

No they don't have to be the same brands, but a lot of the time same-brand gear fits better with each other.

no, as long as the binding size matches the boot size. i have an artec board with morrow bindings and evol boots, cheap and easy setup
