    Skiing can quickly become boring on small hills. I snowboard on our local hill because its more challenging, but on the real mountains skiing is definitely every bit as exciting (not to mention less painful!!!) as snowboarding.

I like snowboarding but I haven't been skiing. Generally, the people I know who like skiing better have all been people who either couldn't snowboard very well or could do both but were tons better with skis because it was easier and they wanted to go on the harder runs.

i think snowboarding is better i skied till i was 9 and i was really good (4 my age) for ex. i could do rails 180s boxes grabs..tons of things.. then i tried snowboarding and i got hooked im only twelve but i loved it soooo much that i just went as much as possible and now i am better than i was at skiing better tricks and ten times faster

Yes, skiing is WAY easier, hence 3 year olds ski instead of board. I switched at age 6 and been boarding for 10 years now, and wouldnt even think about switching back. Sure i could do it, but why? Snowboarding is so much more of a challenge! And as a lady i get lots of respect for kicking guys asses when i board :P its fab! GO BOARDERS!

skateboarding is hard to learn but once you get the hang of it you can learn tricks easier... i havnt gone skiing...
