wait till you try it out, then if it doesnt ride well when your on thr slopes, take it to one of those shops there, they usually wax it in about seven minutes for $5

Make sure when you wax you use clean equiptment when waxing your board as this keeps particles out of your wax. & you may not have done it correctly. You may want to take it somewhere where they wax boards & get some tips on it.
