    In some cases a newer year will have some new features, they will usually change the graphics, and the newer board will usually sell at full list price whereas the last year's model is often discounted to move it out. If it was a good board last year, it is still a good board this year. Most people ride a board for at least a couple of years so most of us are on a 1 - 3 year old board. I say save the money and get a last year's model. Good Luck

nothing really its just a different deck maybe edge but last years boards r still great boards

Mostly just graphics updates. Sometimes more cost effective materials are substituted at the core, but only marginally alter the riding characteristics. Companies usually introduce an entirely new model if they're making significant structural changes to the board.
