if you are just going once, ask your friends who snowboard and borrow pants. If you get cheap clothes they will perform like cheap clothes.

Pants and jackets are actually really expensive. it sucks. If you want a cool pair you will end up paying like $85-145. Trust me, I've been searching. They have some awesome pants at Any Mountain. A couple pairs I saw were on sale for I think $70. Maybe less. Also not sure if you have this store in SD but try Sports Basement. You can just go online and look under sales or something. Hope that helps :)
