What is the best snow board pants to get when it is your first time snow boarding?

Snowboard pants are, in my opinion, the most important part of your snowboarding outerwear. If you plan to snowboard and don't like a soggy butt, buy good snowboard pants. To determine what is a "good" pant, look at the waterproofing and breath-ability ratings of the pants. You will see numbers like 5000/5000 or 10,000/6000, etc... The first number refers to waterproofing, the higher the number, the more waterproof. The second number refers to breath-ability, the higher the number, the easier it is for water vapor (sweat) to exit the material. So the easy way to think of it is, the higher the numbers, the better. The absolute best are going to be any pants that use Gore-Tex. If it is your first time snowboarding, the pants are EXTREMELY important. Buy a good pair.

One that will keep the snow out lol but make sure to have padding on ur butt cuz I'll need it, it doesn't feel great when falling on it so many times, and wear enough layers to stay warm (it helps with padding too)
