Heh yeah sorry but 4 times is usually a bit soon to be carving it up. practice a bit youll get it. you may also want to get someone experienced to look at your set up. preferably someone who works with them. first time i set up my board i put the bindings facing backwards so i was riding down the tail of my board which made it a bit harder as its slightly shorter and skinner than the nose. ive had my bindings modified 2 other times by different ski instructors each time its origionally thrown me off but after a few times it gets alot easier the board could be too short or too flexible but usually those are preference choices so you should be able to work it with these options

Your board is fine, at 106 pounds you should be riding anything from around 138 to 144 area, you are at the base of what you should be riding, but the only thing that effects is the stiffness of the board. If you are on the high end of a boards weight range, it will be less-stiff, more flexible. Lower end of the weight range it will be stiffer. Over all this is fine for you as boards for beginners should be a bit more on the flexible side, its more forgiving when you ride and easier to learn on than a stiff board. The only differences in snowboards really are based on sex, a female board has different flex patterns because woman carry weight differently than males, so if you are a guy riding a woman's deck, that might be a problem, but even this would be so minor you wouldn't notice it. Over all learning to carve is more a confidence thing, the stage you are at what you ride isnt as important as you just getting out there and riding. If you haven't taken any lessons, id suggest signing up for them, they can help a lot.

Go here and compare prices http://store.atticskateshop.com/boards.h... Email them and let them know what your intentions are. Keep in mind 5150 is a sister company of RIDE snowboards so you will be getting a RIDE board with 5150 graphics. Think about it, with the money you save you can have both your board and bindings for the price of a board alone. Hope this helps...
