A freestyle board will be ridden shorter (ex. a 160 to a 156 or something). It will also be softer or have more flex, have a centered stance and be twin in shape.

The all mountains are a bit more durable, in my opinion. Freestyles are shorter and a little easier to control, more for doing tricks but can still do almost anything
