What snowboard size should I get if I am 5'6'' tall?

Is it better to get a bigger or smaller size snowboard than your actual size?

    Get a board that goes up to your chin. stand it on end and see. Since your a begginer try going maybe a little shorter

If you are pretty advanced, you may be surprised how much better you perform on a longer board. Beginners should stick to shorter boards because they are more forgiving and easier to turn.

you will grow out of a 157 faster than a 159...lol and longer is better...plus you will find out 1 cm doesnt make a difference much
