I'm about the same as you and I ride a 149 Never Summer Lotus. I would suggest checking out the Never Summer Pandora or the Infinity. Both are pretty flexible and great for all round. Never Summer is a very awesome brand, the boards are amazing and my friends and I all ride their boards. They have a 3 year warranty on all their boards (minus the Evo). You should also check our Arbor's snowboards, they have some pretty sick designs too. If you are also getting binding, I would suggest Union binding. They have a great selection of men and women's binding and they are all really sick. Plus, they have a lifetime warranty on their binding. The different between men's and women's snowboard is mostly that men's are typically wider, and have a different range of sized. Since you would probably need to go with something between 148-150ish it will be pretty hard to find a men's board that size, even if you like the design. Men's boards typically don't have boards in that size. There are a lot of sick women's boards out there, so I would suggest checking them out first. Go to your local shops and browse around, don't rush your decision or you might regret it. Also try some online shops like http://www.sierrasnowboard.com It is great to buy boards now because they are probably all clearing out old inventory for cheap. Good luck, and happy shredding!

You should ride about a 148cm board. Male boards, are wider, heavier, stiffer, basically just beefed up to handle the extra weight, height, etc. Don't get a board just for the graphics, it could be an awful board. There are plenty of freestyle boards for women. Get a Roxy ollie pop, Capita saturnia or space metal fantasy. All of these boards are good for park and ride the whole mountain great.

Basically, you could try almost any board because of your ability. My suggestion would be to not get a mens board. First of all they are a lot heavier, are very unforgiving, making it take a lot more strength for you to get the board to move the way you want it, and they are also more expensive. Take a look at these sites: http://www.snowboarding.com/equipment/snowboards/k2-snowboards.html http://www.dogfunk.com/dogfunk/group/100000311/Womens-Freestyle-Snowboards.html http://www.burton.com/womens-boards/womens-boards,default,sc.html hope this helps! oh and on the burton website, they have a board finder on the left side of the page that may help you find you size and a good board for you!
