How to wax your snowboard?

Can you wax your snowboard with skate wax? if so, How??

    Don't use skate wax. Take it to the repair shop on the mountain and have them wax it if it's really that bad. It won't need to be waxed unless you have used it a bunch of times since waxing it last. PS Don't wax unless you really know what you are doing or you may damage your board!

Do NOT use skate wax. That is a totally different kind of wax and isn't designed to provide glide on snow. You can get your board waxed at the resort. Just head to the tune shop (every resort has them) and get your board waxed, it should cost around 10 bucks and doesn't take very long. They will also have the best insight as to which wax is working for the snow conditions (yeah, it's different and there are tons of different wax choices). Have fun

nope you shouldnt use skate wax. just go down to the local boardshop and pick up some snowboard wax. if you dont have time to hot wax your board get some paste wax or "snowboard lubricant", they give you a temporary lubricant and a lot faster than hot waxing
