    Yes it saves a lot of money the pass+renting adds up after a few times so to buy one would be smarter over time if your done growing for awhile definitely buy one you can use it 2-3 years and get more then your money's worth do it!

Hello, I am a surfer in Florida. I found that by making my own surfboards, skimboards and stuff, that I saved a tons of monies. Far as renting versus buying goes, well I would buy a used board, I would never rent a board. I could usually find used boards in local classifieds for less than $100, a new one would have cost $900. When or if it breaks, then rent one, as you save up to buy another used one. It is kinda like recycling.
