    for a progressive board, burton feather is nice, but also the option bella.... option is way underrated, their boards are sick without having to pay for the BURTON brand name. stick with something that hits your chin, not your ear....and good bindings. toe caps are the way to go. burton escapades.

get the burton chopper, it a gride board for intermediate riders and you can wakeboard and stuff with it too, or ride it on cement in the summer, you can even surf with it!

My girlfriend just went SB'ing for the first time this year & got on really well with the Burton Feather. "As a rule of thunb" the board should be about ear height........hope this helps
