How should I choose a snowboard to buy?

I want to buy a used snowboard for my boyfriend... where do I start??

  there are alot of very good brands ad say head down too your nearest boarding shop eg. boardwise. or ellis brigham/snowboar islium they will have old demo boards/ used boards for sale and a cheap price =] tell the people at the shop the size of board he needs and his foot sizze to check the width of the board and show you anyboards that will work for him i hope this helps xxxxxxxx
