Is it ok to wax my snowboard with rub on wax appose to waxing it on witha hot iron?

Rub on wax is okay if you have only small amount of time. because its only a rub on, it will generally ware off in a couple of runs. But if you go hot wax, it will last a lot longer. You can either get it done for you or you can do it yourself which is really easy to do. You just need to have a iron, snowboard wax, and a scraper.( you can use a plastic ruler for last resort) But if you dont have a good iron here is a good way to do things: Go to your kitchin. Find yourself a good sized pan. Put it on the stove until it gets fairly hot. Then what you can do is touch the wax to the bottom of the pan and drip the wax onto your board. But make sure the pan is not hot enough to were the wax is smoking. *thats bad*. so then once you drip the wax around the board, you can place the pan on the board and move it across the board melting and spreading the wax across the board. Then just get a scrapper and scrape off the wax so its even. and there you go. you now have a easy wax job tip

ITs ok too but dude ist not worth it use the iron its much better for the board adn some iron on wax protects the layers rub on wax does not protect well
