  • Answer:

choose the mountain that you would like to ride most and work there. cali, utah, CO, are going to be very touristy mountains and will have tons of work in idaho, oregon, montana, and washington mountains will be a bit less touristy and more rugged. but in my opinion its a bit late to find a job on a resort. where i work my job is usually filled by july and most hiring for the resort is done in august/september. i work at Park City btw

If you want a season with job security, I would land where there are a few ski resorts within a short distance. Since you have already been to Colorado, you probably know that the most ski resorts in close proximity are Loveland, A-Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Vail. Park City is another good option. I would stay away from California, since you are going to be working on concrete snow probably at lower elevations.
