Is it harder to get sponsored in snowboarding after you are 18?

Whats the easiest/best way to get sponsored for snowboarding?

    Well i really couldn't tell you because i don't know how go you are. But if you are wondering you have to be pretty good and have to know people who can get you in. Try talking to guys at a shop or who are sponsored. Also these days most of sponsorships unless you are godly are by comps and not videos. Remember there are a lot of people who snowboard and the reason a company sponsors is because they think your going to make it big and promote the company. Companies like to see guys who don't worry about the gear and like to ride and can ride a lot. Being sponsored is a pretty big thing that takes time so make sure its what you want to do.

you and 10 million people want to get "sponsored"..does anyone evn know what sponsored means?? shaun white is sponsored by Burton, meaning everywhere he goes he wears and rides burton...local ski shops never do sponsors--why would they??? all they have to do is put an add in the paper or commercial on tv for publicity- big companies do sponsors for big athletes who are going places- very one wants to be like shaun white so they'll use their allowance to buy burton..nobody wants to be like you ...
