What would be a good snowboard for a beginner girl?

If i'm 5'7" and 135 lbs, will a 152cm snowboard be ok for me to use?

    I think since you're a beginner you'll want to go with a smaller board. go for a 147-150. It will be a lot easier for you to learn and it will give you leeway if you decide that you want to do freestyle or something else. Just something to consider. 152 will be on the bigger end, so if you are still growing than maybe 150-152 otherwise definitely go with something between your chin and your nose [147-150] Good Luck!

the difference in length is only 1" so it shouldn't matter if you are a beginner get something with some flex in it so it is easy for you to turn

it really depends on how you plan to snowboard basically if you want a board that can handle everything aka freeride boards the tip of your board, when standing it up, should be somewhere between your nose and your chin if you want to do the park more often, anywhere between your chin to about a hand (vertical) below your chin should be good powder boards should be be taller than your nose hope this helped =D

UConnKid has got to be kidding with those board length suggestions. 143cm for freestyle? She's 5'7 135 lbs not 100 lbs. I weigh around 135 lbs and I use a 148cm for freestyle and a 151 for freeride. If you are going to be freeriding most of the time I think a 152cm is perfect as long as you don't intend to be doing freestyle a lot. Get the board if you like it. Summary: Freestyle: 147-148cm All mountain freestyle: 148-150cm Freeride: 150-152cm Good luck and enjoy shredding with a new board! Oh and check out the snowboard size calculator http://www.frostyrider.com/tips/size-guide.htm it isn't 100% accurate but within 1 or 2 cms for sure.
