How can I fit K2 bindings on a burton board?

Answer:
The answer from "go cubs" couldn't be more wrong. Yes any burton board will fit any set of bindings. The board should have a 4 hole pattern incorporated into it's 3 hole pattern but you will not be able to move the bindings around with the 4 hole pattern so you'll want to go to a snowboard shop and get a universal plate. Most shops will give them to you for free or charge you a couple of bucks. This plate will let you do both 3 hole and 4 hole patterns on your bindings and will take the place of the plates that came with the bindings. Burton is good but it can be overpriced many times and not worth it so don't always go with them. K2 is a good choice.

If your k2 bindings are semi recent than they already come with a universal mounting plate....thats one of there big selling points you just rotate the disc 90deg. for the 3 hole burton style....couldn't be easier

Yes! You will either need a 6x6 adapter for the 3 hole pattern unique to Burton boards or the binding plates themselves may already have extra holes built in. You can simply set the bindings on the board and see if the holes line up and go from there. Regardless, if you have any doubt at all, take them to your local shop or ski resort and have a professional tech set them up for you. Definitely worth the few $$ to be safe!!! Ride on...

you can't. burton designed their boards so that only their bindings will fit into the screw holes. the holes are set up in a unique pattern that only burton bindings have in their base plates. you either need to steal some burton base plates or simply invest in burton bindings. i would suggest doing the latter simply because burton makes exceptional bindings. the Burton Custom bindings is considerably cheap and it also responds very well to your foot. bindings are one of the most important investments you can make to your snow kit.
