What's the difference between snowboarding clothes and ski clothes?

I'm going skiing in February and I was wondering if it would be okay to wear snowboarding jackets or pants for skiing? And what the difference?
Answer:

Basically the same, just different styles. I buy Jackets/pants based on how many beers I can stuff into the pockets and I always try to find one that has a nice pocket to store a weed container and a pipe.

There really isn't a difference. They both will keep you plenty warm and will not effect your performance if you wear snowboard pants to ski or vice versa.
