Oakley polarized Goggles Question?

Oakley HI yellow lens?

  • Im planning on buying 2 pairs snow goggles at the moment.. one for sunny days, and another for clear days/at night, and my question is whether or not the high intensity yellow lens ...show more

  • Answer:

I use Oakley HI yellow for overcast ,snowy, or at night. But I have been riding with HI yellow and it became sunny. It's not like you can't see but it is definitely not a recommended lens for sunny days. I use Fire Iridium for sunny days and I love em. And HI yellow is awesome for overcast and snow days

listen to alex. he knows what hes talking about. but why would you buy two pairs of goggles?why not just buy one with interchangeable lenses.

High intensity yellow would be the worst choice for sunny days, it's a very bright lens, use it for night riding or flat light. For sunny days I recommend the black iridium, gold iridium, or fire iridium. Pink iridium is also pretty good for sunny and flat conditions.

HI Yellow would be good for your night goggles. Something like black or fire iridium will be good for sunny days. Lots of other options too. heres a chart with more info: http://www.dogfunk.com/dogfunk/sizingchart.html?sizing_id=60&sku=OAK1821&pg_id=40&subcat_id=100000021&cat_id=7
