What snowboard would you recommend?

Can someone recommend a good Burton snowboard for me?

    burton boards suck..... Go Lib Tech or Gnu and who cares what the boards looking like you want the specs to fit you rite.... i would ride a board that looks like its made for a 4 yr old girl if its new technology that fits my riding

common rookie mistake is to get a board that looks good. Go with a board that makes u a better rider not the one that looks cool. I agree with the other guy. Burton is good brand but they are overpriced for boards that are not as good as some other brands. The best brands out there are GNU and Lib-Tech. They are owned by the same company. Get a GNU board with BTX. as opposed to the burton which will only put u out 400 bucks, the GNU boards will make u a better rider. It has a reverse camber as well as magnetraction. the MTX will help you ride better in icy conditions. If you want to become a better rider get over the whole burton craze. If you can demo the board when u are on the mountain. You will feel the difference instantly.

doesn't matter what it looks like - I have a burton custom, and I realized the difference in carving right away. It grabs the snow, hold on tight, and then lets you pop into the next turn like cutting through butter. ALTHOUGH - I transfered from an old Lamer diablo Jr. If you really want it to look nice, you can always get the top a custom paint. But if the board your looking for is right for you and you just don't like the look, don't worry. It will be covered in snow by the time your done anyway:)_

no i cant, but i can recommend a Ride snowboard. Look into the Society or the Fleetwood. Inexpensive, but good.
