Are powder boards fine in terrain parks?

Hey I am think of buying a snowboard...?

  • and Im wondering which kind would be best. an all mountain board or a freestyle board? im rele only interested in terrain parks and powder. i dont rele care for moguals and trees.

  • Answer:

don't care what you get but in response to jennifer's comment. 5150 is like the poorer sister of ride. which does not mean you'll be getting a ride snowboard with 5150 graphics. it means your getting a cheaper board because there's less going into it. in the snowboard world you're gonna get what you pay for. they're both owned by k2 anyway. just a heads up

I recommend any board that is not a Burton. Burton boards are well-known, but that company uses cheap materials in their boards. Check out Gnu or Lib-tech instead.

I recommend Burton, look in the park boards. They can get pricey but they are top of the line.
