Am I too late and old to start snowboarding to become an Am?

Dude we are talking about snowboarding not being a jedi where you have to start training at 4 years age. I started snowboarding when I was 22 and now 4 years later I can kill it on the park, powder and in the backcountry. Doesnt matter when you start as long as you stick with it for the first few days which are the worst. It will hurt in the beginning but once you get over that, it will be the best thing ever. I wish i had started riding earlier. I dunno about working at a resort thing though cause you get paid like 8 bucks an hour and have to work 6 days a week and because of the economy a lot of them have stopped giving out free passes to employees that work in the cafes and such. So you cant ride unless you are part of the the park crew and such. snowboarding is great but it wont make you money, infact you need to make sure you finish school and can afford to make enough to spend on snowboarding. It's never too late to start snowboarding, as long as you have will to try and try. Since you skateboard you should have pretty good balance so it might be easier for you to pick up snowboarding.

No way mate you will rip it up as your skateboarding skills will transfer onto the snow. A few of my mates are great skateboarders and have only been snowboarding a handfull of times and they just learn so quickly its not funny. Get out there and rip it up!
