What brand or style of snowboard should i buy?

burton is a really great snowboarding company,so i would stick with them.Lamar is also good.

Let me tell you whats up! I f you want a park board you need to go with a Option or a Automaton, If i were you i would go to www.automatonsnowboards.com and look what they have to offer. They have amazing park boards, as well as option. If your looking for a free ride board go with a burton, or k2

it depends what you want to get out of your board. Burton are a good make because they have a lot of good boarders under their name so get a lot of special boards designed by professionals. if u want a freestyle board then i would stick with Burton, particularly try a Shaun White board. (i have a Shaun White junior freestyle and have won many a comp with it) if you want a general all mountain board try K2 they have a good style (they make the size gap between the middle of the board and the ends pretty small) that makes for smooth riding on the piste but doesn't mind jumps (although i took it off piste and the nose sunk into the snow and i did what looked like a rather crap attempt at a nollie front flip) and if you want hardcore off piste cliff dropping mentalness then get a really special board but usually by the time you're doing proper hardcore stuff like that you'll probably be sponsored and be able to get a specialist "super board". hope that helped :)
