What size snowboard boots should I get?

mondo means huge, larger, etc. i usually try and go about .5 to 1 size bigger then what shoes i wear. i wear a 10.5 so i have 11 and they have just enough room. i would fellow the other people said and bring your boyfriend to get him fitted. every boot is different, so he can pick the one that he feel most comfortable in.

Take him to your local snowboard shop and have him try on pair after pair. The best gift would be boots that fit.. It's the single most important part of the setup. Bad fitting boots = bad day on the mountain. You want the boots to fit snug, there should be no heel lift, and no aggravated pressure points. The technology of the boots is the last thing you want to consider. Find a proper fit first. It's better to error on the side of too small than too big because boots will pack out (get bigger) throughout the season. Make sure his big toe reaches the end of the boot, and when he flexes forward his heel stays held in place. Shoe size is a poor judge of boot size, I wear a size 12 sneaker and a size 10 boot. When you buy boots that fit too loose you're guaranteed bad board control. Like I said earlier.. it's best to just take him to the shop and try on every pair.

What is the length of his foot? (In Inches?) I will be able to find his size after that.
