If you are a beginner than that board is probably perfect for you because it is right in between to different types of sizes for whichever type of snowboarder you would like to be. when you get better you might have to make a choice at which type of boarding u would like to do. If you would like to spend your time in terrain parks and doing tricks and grinding rails you might want a 140. Or if you like to go fast and have smooth rides you would probably want a 152. or if you cant make the decision, just stick with the size board you have now like me and do whatever you like.

Depends the type of riding you do. If you do freestyle, then a board that size is good for spinning. But if you are a freeride snowboarder, then you want it a little under your nose. Hope that helps!

It's kinda borderline. My board is like that size, and I like it. So does my ex. We like shorter boards because it feels like we've got more control. However, if you REALLY want to know your size try this sizing calculator: http://www.frostyrider.com/tips/size-guide.htm
